Hole in the one

I had to watch him for a little bit yesterday. He is such a funny kid, yet smart for his age group. He always likes wrestling with me and singing his ABC's. The only problem I have with this little monster is he is so energetic. He never stops, something similar to a clock. I tell him to sit down, he runs around. I tell him to stop, he runs faster. So much work was put into getting him to slow down. Finally, he gave in and wanted to go outside for a little bit and skateboard. He's only 3 and loves to skate. I like him even more.
Once I had taken him home. I went on a little adventure of my own and roamed downtown Portland for a while. I can't get enough of downtown Portland, It's like my second home (As I share it with all of those who sleep on the sidewalks). I had went to go chat it up with Sam at Hecklewood but for some reason the store was closed so I continued walking along 3rd street and out of the norm I see these revolving doors erect from out of the ground with these people coming out like they escaped the underground railroads. I wanted to check it out but was unsure that I would get bombarded out of the way due to me not looking of age for whatever event was taking place but knowing me I'm careless and more curious than George. I walked in front of the entrance/exit and took a look to my left then I took a look to my right and said out loud "What is this?" The guy behind me was the instructor while there were people taking pictures of this tunnel-like figure. He tapped me on the shoulder and told me that what I was looking at was The Shanghai Tunnel. I was completely clueless to what he was talking about but I was up for listening. He had told me that back in the day people would work near waterfront and were kidnapped and brought under these tunnels and tortured. After that I lost the need to know what went on in there. He handed me the brochure and asked me to check it out, seems like a really cool place to check out.

God loves ya,
Be well.
